RC: Fantastic. Plans for anymore?
Horn: [Smiles.] No more.
RC: I trust you guys have some big plans for next week for their birthday.
Horn: Oh yeah, we’re gonna do a petting farm…. We have older kids coming, too, so they’ll be able to enjoy that. Should be cool.
RC: Okay, so I got the press kit for the Jenna Jameson tie-in here, with a copy of the cover. Very beautiful.
Horn: Thank you, thank you! She thought so, too. I just brought it up to her about a half hour ago. She signed it, and she signed it “Thank you for making me look so beautiful.”
RC: Wow, that’s great. What else you been up to?
Horn: Well, um… I just finished my run on SHE-HULK, so from now on I’m going to be doing the MS. MARVEL covers,
and I’ve been working with Hasbro on their 25th anniversary commemorative of the G.I. JOE comic books from Marvel, and um… that’s about it. I’ve got other projects, but I can’t talk about them.
RC: Now, you brought up G.I. JOE. There’s a movie that’s supposedly in the works. Any future work on that, or can you comment on it?
Horn: No, I’m not doing any work on that myself. I did do a Dreamcast illustration for ToyFare magazine, and that has Viggo Mortensen as Duke, Monica Bellucci as Scarlett, or rather, Baroness; Jennifer Garner as Scarlett, and [exclaims] Gilbert Gottfried as Cobra Commander.
RC: Very nice. Alright last question, I promise. We’re at Day Three of a four day convention – and you’re not local from around here, are you?
Horn: No, I’m from West Palm Beach, Florida.
RC: So you’re out here in San Diego for your annual visit. Any plans for the rest of the weekend?
Horn: Well, I already went on the Rose, which is out in the bay here. That’s the ship that they used on “Master and Commander.” And that was – aw, man – that was a blast. That was awesome. And then, uh… that’s pretty much it. I came here to work, essentially.
RC: OK, last question, really. Favorite restaurant in Florida.
Horn: This is not a joke, I’m serious about this, but I like LongHorn. It’s a steakhouse. I’m a steak man. I get the filet, or I get the porterhouse. If anyone wants to bring me one at the show, I’ll be glad to take it off their hands! Just make sure it’s still hot.
RC: We’ll make sure to let our readers know about that. Thank you very much.
Horn: Thank you.
